Krishna Declares the Vaishnava Dharma
After the horse sacrifice Yudhishthira asks Krishna to teach the Vaishnava dharmas, listing the many dharma-teachings he has already heard, and the sages gather to listen. Krishna praises dharma as father, mother and friend, explains why people are fortunate or wretched, and then reveals that his human birth is a work of maya. He describes his devotees, his cosmic form and his presence in all things, and says the whole world arises from him and dissolves into him.
