Bhima and Karna: Seven More of Duryodhana's Brothers Fall

Grieved at the death of Dhritarashtra's sons, Karna fights Bhima again; Bhima kills his horses and charioteer and cuts his bow, and Karna, on foot, hurls a mace that Bhima shoots down. Wounded and turned back, Karna is rescued when Duryodhana sends seven more brothers, Chitra, Upachitra, Chitraksha, Charuchitra, Sharasana, Chitrayudha and Chitravarma, and Bhima kills each with a single arrow. Karna, remembering Vidura's warning, takes another chariot, and the two heroes trade arrows in a long, evenly matched duel.
