Bhurishravas Overpowers Satyaki; Arjuna Cuts Off His Arm
Bhurishravas challenges Satyaki with boasts and Satyaki answers in kind, and the two fight with arrows, swords and finally in wrestling. When Satyaki is left weaponless, Krishna points him out to Arjuna, and Bhurishravas hurls him to the ground, drags him by the hair and raises his sword. Arjuna, who has been watching with respect for Bhurishravas but cannot let his pupil die, fixes a razor-headed arrow to Gandiva and cuts off the raised right arm.
