Karna Warns That the Pandavas Will Not Yield

Dhritarashtra asks who turned back to face Drona after the Pandavas and Panchalas had been broken. Sanjaya tells how Duryodhana, pleased to see the Panchalas driven back, points them out to Karna. Karna answers that Bhima and the Pandavas, remembering their wrongs, will never give up the fight, that many kings have fallen under their sway, and that the army should go at once to Drona's side. Duryodhana goes toward Drona's chariot with his brothers, while the Pandavas rally on their horses.
