Brahma and Ishana Promise Arjuna the Victory
Prajapati, fearing that the world will be destroyed by Karna and Arjuna, asks Brahma that victory be made equal, and Brahma answers that the battle will terrify the three worlds. Indra pleads for Arjuna, who is Nara of the divine pair Nara and Narayana, and says that Karna may win heaven but the victory should be the Krishnas'. Brahma and Ishana grant that Arjuna's victory is certain; Indra tells the assembled beings, who marvel, and the gods rain flowers and play the divine drums.
