Narada and Parvata Curse Each Other

Yudhishthira asks how Srinjaya's son came to be called Golden-Spitter and why he died so young. Krishna begins the tale: the sages Narada and Parvata, uncle and nephew, agree to tell each other every wish of the heart, and live with King Srinjaya, whose daughter Sukumari serves them. Narada falls in love with her and conceals it; Parvata discovers it and curses him, Narada curses Parvata in return, and the curses are later lifted. Krishna says that Narada himself will tell the rest.

How did he, Srinjaya's son, come to be Golden-Spitter? And why was he given by Parvata — and did he die because of that?
