The Pandava Camp at Kurukshetra
Yudhishthira encamps his army on clean, level ground at Kurukshetra, avoiding cremation grounds, shrines and hermitages. Krishna and Arjuna drive off the Kaurava outposts, Dhrishtadyumna and Satyaki lay out the camp, and Krishna has a moat dug by the river Hiranvati and builds like quarters for all the allied kings. The camps are stocked with craftsmen, physicians, weapons and provisions, and the allied kings arrive to fight for the Pandavas' victory.
