Bhishma Will Not Fight Shikhandin
Bhishma completes his count of the Pandava warriors with Rochamana, Purujit Kuntibhoja and Bhima's son Ghatotkacha, and says he will meet them all, even Krishna and Arjuna, seeking victory or death. But he will not strike Shikhandin: having vowed lifelong celibacy and the throne's renunciation for his father's sake, he will never kill a woman or one who was once a woman, and Shikhandin was born a girl. This closes the Rathatiratha-sankhya Parva.
