How Krishna Is Known
Dhritarashtra asks how Sanjaya knows Madhava as lord of all the worlds, and Sanjaya answers that he knows him through knowledge and through devotion, free of deceit. Dhritarashtra urges Duryodhana to take refuge in Krishna; Duryodhana refuses, and Gandhari rebukes him, foretelling his death at Bhima's hands. Vyasa assures the king that Sanjaya will free him from great fear, and Sanjaya teaches that Keshava is reached only through restraint of the senses.
