viṣṇunā ca kṛtaḥ pūrvaṁ brahmaṇā ca varānane | śaṅkareṇa maheśena tripurāsuranāśane
O fair-faced one, this sacrifice was performed of old by Vishnu, by Brahma, and by Shankara, the great Lord who destroyed the demon Tripura.
Verse 120 (devibhagavatam.9.30.120)

Verse 122 (devibhagavatam.9.30.122)
śepuśca nandinaṁ viprā nandī viprāṁśca kopataḥ | yaddhetordakṣayajñaṁ ca babhañja candraśekharaḥ
The brahmins cursed Nandi, and Nandi, in anger, cursed the brahmins in turn; because of this, Chandrashekhara destroyed Daksha's sacrifice.

cakāra devīyajñaṁ sa purā dakṣaḥ prajāpatiḥ | dharmaśca kaśyapaścaiva śeṣaścāpi ca kardamaḥ

rājasūyasahasrāṇāṁ phalamāpnoti niścitam | devīyajñātparo yajño nāsti vede phalapradaḥ

Verse 126 (devibhagavatam.9.30.126)
varṣāṇāṁ śatajīvī ca jīvanmukto bhaveddhruvam | jñānena tejasā caiva viṣṇutulyo bhavediha
He who performs it lives a full hundred years and surely becomes liberated while living; in knowledge and in radiance he becomes here the equal of Vishnu.
Verse 127 (devibhagavatam.9.30.127)
devānāṁ ca yathā viṣṇurvaiṣṇavānāṁ ca nārada | śāstrāṇāṁ ca yathā vedā varṇānāṁ brāhmaṇo yathā

Verse 130 (devibhagavatam.9.30.130)
śīghrāṇāṁ cendriyāṇāṁ ca cañcalānāṁ mano yathā | prajāpatīnāṁ brahmā ca prajānāṁ ca prajāpatiḥ

Verse 131 (devibhagavatam.9.30.131)

Verse 132 (devibhagavatam.9.30.132)
pativratānāṁ durgā ca saubhāgyānāṁ ca rādhikā | devīyajñastathā vatse sarvayajñeṣu bhāmini
As Durga is foremost among faithful wives, and Radhika among the blessed — even so, my child, O radiant one, is the Devi-yajna foremost among all sacrifices.
Verse 133 (devibhagavatam.9.30.133)

The fruit of bathing at every sacred place, of initiation into every sacrifice, of every vow, and of every austerity —
Verse 135 (devibhagavatam.9.30.135)
pāṭhe caturṇāṁ vedānāṁ prādakṣiṇyaṁ bhuvastathā | phalabhūtamidaṁ sarvaṁ muktidaṁ śaktisevanam
— the fruit of reciting all four Vedas, and likewise of circumambulating the earth — all of this fruit together is embodied in the single act of serving Shakti, which grants liberation.
Verse 136 (devibhagavatam.9.30.136)
purāṇeṣu ca vedeṣu cetihāseṣu sarvataḥ | nirūpitaṁ sārabhūtaṁ devīpādāmbujārcanam

tatpādodakanaivedyaṁ bhakṣaṇaṁ nityameva ca | sarvasammatamityevaṁ sarvepsitamidaṁ sati

Verse 139 (devibhagavatam.9.30.139)
