Verse 105 (skanda.1.40.105)

antaḥkṣurā vāṅmadhurāḥ kūpāśdhannāstṛṇauriva kurvate ye bahūnmārgāṁstāṁstānhetubalanvitāḥ

Verse 124 (skanda.1.40.124)

etāścatasrastithayo yugādyā dattaṁ hutaṁ cākṣayamāśu vidyāt yugeyuge varṣaśatena dānaṁ yugādikāle divasena tatphalam

"These four dates mark the beginning of the ages; know that whatever is given or offered upon them at once becomes imperishable. In each age, a gift given over a hundred years bears the very fruit that one given on a single day at the age's dawning bears.

Verse 125 (skanda.1.40.125)

Verse 131 (skanda.1.40.131)

"Smoke is reached through sacrifices, and the path of flame through freedom from action. Beyond these two lies yet another path, called heresy —

Verse 137 (skanda.1.40.137)

yo devānmanyate naiva dharmāṁśca manusūcitān naitau sa yāti paṁthānau tattvārtho'yaṁ nirūpitaḥ

"and one who honors neither the gods nor the duties declared by Manu walks upon neither of these two paths. This true meaning has now been made clear.
