The Glory of Mokshasvami

Verse 1 (skanda.7.190.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि तत्र मुक्तिप्रदं हरिम्। प्रभासान्नैर्ऋते भागे नातिदूरे व्यवस्थितम्

īśvara uvāca| tato gacchenmahādevi tatra muktipradaṁ harim| prabhāsānnairṛte bhāge nātidūre vyavasthitam

Ishvara said: Then, O great Goddess, one should go to that liberation-bestowing Hari, situated not far to the southwest of Prabhasa.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.190.2)

एकादश्यां जिताहारो यस्तं देवि प्रपूजयेत्। माघे मासे विशेषेण सोऽग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत्

ekādaśyāṁ jitāhāro yastaṁ devi prapūjayet| māghe māse viśeṣeṇa so'gniṣṭomaphalaṁ labhet

Whoever, having controlled his diet, worships him on the eleventh lunar day, especially in the month of Magha, obtains the fruit of the Agnishtoma sacrifice.

Verse 3 (skanda.7.190.3)

यस्तत्रानशनं कुर्याद्व्रतं चान्द्रायणादिकम्। सोऽन्यतीर्थात्कोटिगुणं प्राप्नुयात्फलमीप्सितम्

yastatrānaśanaṁ kuryādvrataṁ cāndrāyaṇādikam| so'nyatīrthātkoṭiguṇaṁ prāpnuyātphalamīpsitam

Whoever fasts there and observes vows such as the Chandrayana obtains his desired fruit a crore times greater than at any other holy place.
