The Glory of Rukmavatishvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.222.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। तत्रैव संस्थितं लिंगं रुक्मवत्या प्रतिष्ठितम्। सर्वपापोपशमनं सर्वकामफलप्रदम्

īśvara uvāca| tatraiva saṁsthitaṁ liṅgaṁ rukmavatyā pratiṣṭhitam| sarvapāpopaśamanaṁ sarvakāmaphalapradam

Ishvara said: There stands the linga established by Rukmavati, which pacifies all sins and grants the fruit of every desire.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.222.2)

तत्र स्नात्वा महातीर्थे लिंगं संप्लाव्य यत्नतः। विप्रेभ्यो दापयेद्वित्तं मुच्यते सर्वपातकैः

tatra snātvā mahātīrthe liṅgaṁ saṁplāvya yatnataḥ| viprebhyo dāpayedvittaṁ mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ

Having bathed there at that great tirtha, and having carefully bathed the linga, one should have wealth given to brahmins; thereby one is freed from all sins.
