'Having worshipped Mahadeva there, you shall be freed from the brahminicide.' Saying 'so be it,' O fair-faced one, he went there,
Verse 6 (skanda.7.224.6)

thereupon the foulness of his limbs was swiftly destroyed, all discoloration departed, and his body became excellent again.
Verse 8 (skanda.7.224.8)
अथ हृष्टमना भूत्वा वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह। तत्रागत्य नरो भक्त्या यश्चैनं पूजयिष्यति
atha hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā vākyametaduvāca ha| tatrāgatya naro bhaktyā yaścainaṁ pūjayiṣyati
Then, becoming joyful of mind, he spoke these words: 'Whatever man comes here with devotion and worships him,
Verse 9 (skanda.7.224.9)

brahmahatyādikaṁ pāpaṁ nāśaṁ tasya prayāsyati| evamuktvā sahasrākṣaḥ prahṛṣṭastridivaṁ yayau
his sin of brahminicide and the like shall go to destruction.' Having said this, the thousand-eyed one, greatly rejoicing, went to heaven,

ब्रह्महत्याविनिर्मुक्तः पूज्यमानो दिवौकसैः। गोदानं तत्र दातव्यं ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे
brahmahatyāvinirmuktaḥ pūjyamāno divaukasaiḥ| godānaṁ tatra dātavyaṁ brāhmaṇe vedapārage
freed from brahminicide, worshipped by the dwellers of heaven. There one should give a cow in gift to a brahmin learned in the Veda,
Verse 11 (skanda.7.224.11)
ब्रह्महत्यापनोदार्थं तत्र श्राद्धं समाचरेत्
brahmahatyāpanodārthaṁ tatra śrāddhaṁ samācaret
and for the removal of brahminicide one should perform shraddha there.
