The Glory of the Three Tripura Lingas

Verse 1 (skanda.7.272.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। तत्रैव संस्थितं पश्येत्प्राची देव्यास्तु संनिधौ। लिंगत्रयं समाख्यातं त्रिपुराणां महात्मनाम्॥

īśvara uvāca| tatraiva saṁsthitaṁ paśyetprācī devyāstu saṁnidhau| liṅgatrayaṁ samākhyātaṁ tripurāṇāṁ mahātmanām||

Ishvara said: There itself, near the goddess Prachi (Sarasvati), one should behold the group of three lingas named after the three great Tripura demons.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.272.2)

विद्युन्माली तारकाख्यः कपोलाख्यस्तथैव च। तैश्च प्रतिष्ठितं लिंगं दृष्ट्वा पापैः प्रमुच्यते॥

vidyunmālī tārakākhyaḥ kapolākhyastathaiva ca| taiśca pratiṣṭhitaṁ liṅgaṁ dṛṣṭvā pāpaiḥ pramucyate||

Vidyunmali, the one called Taraka, and the one called Kapola — beholding the linga established by these three, a man is freed from sins.
