The Splendor of Chakra-tīrtha

Verse 1 (skanda.7.411.1)

पुलस्त्य उवाच ततो गच्छेन्नृपश्रेष्ठ चक्रतीर्थमनुत्तमम् यत्र चक्रं पुरा मुक्तं विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना

pulastya uvāca tato gacchennṛpaśreṣṭha cakratīrthamanuttamam yatra cakraṁ purā muktaṁ viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā

Pulastya said: Then, O best of kings, one should go to Chakra-tirtha, most excellent, where the discus was formerly released by the all-powerful Vishnu.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.411.2)

निहत्य दानवान्संख्ये कृत्वा स्नानं सुनिर्झरे विष्णुः प्राक्षालयत्तोयं तेन तन्मेध्यतां गतम्

nihatya dānavānsaṁkhye kṛtvā snānaṁ sunirjhare viṣṇuḥ prākṣālayattoyaṁ tena tanmedhyatāṁ gatam

Having slain the demons in battle, and having bathed in that fine stream, Vishnu washed himself with that water; by that, it attained purity.

Verse 3 (skanda.7.411.3)

तत्र श्राद्धं तु यः कुर्याच्छयने बोधने हरेः आकल्पं पितरस्तस्य तृप्तिं यांति नराधिप

tatra śrāddhaṁ tu yaḥ kuryācchayane bodhane hareḥ ākalpaṁ pitarastasya tṛptiṁ yāṁti narādhipa

Whoever, O lord of men, performs shraddha there at Hari's Shayani or Bodhini Ekadashi, his ancestors attain satisfaction until the end of the kalpa.
