त्रिदशाधीशवन्दितः

The one revered by the lord of the thirty gods, who receives homage from Indra himself as the sovereign of the entire celestial pantheon

तीस देवों के अधीश द्वारा वन्दित, जो स्वयं इन्द्र से समस्त दिव्य पंथ के प्रभु के रूप में नमस्कार प्राप्त करते हैं

त्रिदशाधीशवन्दित दत्तात्रेय को त्रिदश-अधीश (तीस देवों के स्वामी, अर्थात् इन्द्र) द्वारा वन्दित नाम देता है। इन्द्र दत्तात्रेय को नमन करते हैं, धर्मशास्त्रीय पदानुक्रम स्थापित करते हुए: दत्तात्रेय दिव्य राजा से भी ऊँचे खड़े हैं। गुरु चरित्र में ऐसे उदाहरण दर्ज हैं जहाँ दिव्य प्राणी दत्तात्रेय के चरणों में झुकते हैं।
