जगद्रूपः

The one whose form is the world, in whom the entire universe is not an external creation but the very body of his cosmic self-expression

जिनका रूप जगत् है, जिनमें सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड बाहरी सृजन नहीं बल्कि उनकी ब्रह्माण्डीय आत्म-अभिव्यक्ति का शरीर है

जगद्रूप दत्तात्रेय को वह नाम देता है जिनका रूप जगत् है। यह दत्तात्रेय पर लागू विश्वरूप सिद्धान्त है। भारत की 'ब्रह्म सत्यम्, जगत् मिथ्या' की अद्वैत शिक्षण को इस जगद्रूप पूरक की आवश्यकता है। दोनों शिक्षाएँ मिलकर: संसार ब्रह्म से अन्ततः अभिन्न है और दिव्य का अपना रूप है।
