Ganapati Atharvashirsha

oṃ namaste gaṇapataye | tvameva pratyakṣaṃ tattvamasi | tvameva kevalaṃ kartā'si | tvameva kevalaṃ dhartā'si ||1||

ॐ गणपति को नमस्कार। आप ही प्रत्यक्ष तत्त्व हैं। आप ही कर्ता हैं और आप ही धारण करने वाले हैं।

Om, salutations to Ganapati. You alone are the visible Reality. You alone are the doer; You alone are the sustainer.

tvameva kevalaṃ hartā'si | tvameva sarvaṃ khalvidaṃ brahmāsi | tvaṃ sākṣādātmā'si nityam ||2||

आप ही संहार/हरण करने वाले हैं। यह सब ब्रह्म आप ही हैं। आप साक्षात् नित्य आत्मा हैं।

You alone are the remover. You indeed are all this Brahman. You are directly the eternal Self.

ṛtaṃ vacmi | satyaṃ vacmi | ava tvaṃ mām | ava vaktāram | ava śrotāram | ava dātāram ||3||

मैं ऋत बोलता हूँ, सत्य बोलता हूँ। मेरी रक्षा करें, वक्ता की रक्षा करें, श्रोता की रक्षा करें और दाता की रक्षा करें।

I speak cosmic order; I speak truth. Protect me, protect the speaker, protect the listener, and protect the giver.

ava dhātāram | avānūcānamava śiṣyam | ava paścāttāt | ava purastāt | avottarāttāt | ava dakṣiṇāttāt ||4||

धाता, आचार्य और शिष्य की रक्षा करें। पीछे से, आगे से, उत्तर से और दक्षिण से रक्षा करें।

Protect the supporter, the teacher and the student. Protect from behind, from the front, from the north and from the south.

ava cordhvāttāt | avādharāttāt | sarvato māṃ pāhi pāhi samantāt ||5||

ऊपर से और नीचे से रक्षा करें। सभी दिशाओं से मेरी पूर्ण रक्षा करें।

Protect from above and from below. Protect me from every side, protect me completely.

tvaṃ vāṅmayastvaṃ cinmayaḥ | tvamānandamayastvaṃ brahmamayaḥ | tvaṃ saccidānandādvitīyo'si ||6||

आप वाङ्मय, चिन्मय, आनन्दमय और ब्रह्ममय हैं। आप सच्चिदानन्द अद्वितीय तत्त्व हैं।

You are the essence of speech, consciousness, bliss and Brahman. You are the non-dual reality of existence, consciousness and bliss.
