नीलमेघश्याम वैष्णव परम्परा में दिव्य के सबसे प्रिय रंग-वर्णनों में से एक है। दक्षिण भारतीय परम्परा में मानसून के साथ प्रभु का सम्बन्ध इस नाम को विशेष गूँज देता है।
