समदर्शनः

The one of equal vision, who perceives all beings with the same loving clarity regardless of their apparent differences of form, status, species, or spiritual attainment

समदर्शन के, जो सभी प्राणियों को उनके रूप, स्थिति, प्रजाति या आध्यात्मिक प्राप्ति के स्पष्ट अन्तर के बावजूद समान प्रेमपूर्ण स्पष्टता से देखते हैं

समदर्शन दत्तात्रेय को समदर्शन के नाम देता है। भगवद्गीता (5.18) प्रसिद्ध वर्णन प्रदान करती है: 'ज्ञानी विद्वान ब्राह्मण, गाय, हाथी, कुत्ते और कुत्ता खाने वाले में समान देखते हैं।' दत्तात्रेय की 24-गुरु शिक्षण समदर्शन की सर्वोच्च अभिव्यक्ति है।
