संसार की जलन को काटने वाली - जो अस्तित्व के चक्रों में पीड़ा के मूल कारणों को काट देती हैं, अज्ञान, वासना और कर्म की त्रिविध ताप

यह पहचान कि पीड़ा चक्रीय प्रतिरूपों से उत्पन्न होती है - यादृच्छिक घटनाएँ नहीं बल्कि संरचित पुनरावृत्तियाँ - भारतीय दर्शन की महान अन्तर्दृष्टियों में से एक है। जो व्यक्ति उस दुर्व्यवहारपूर्ण सम्बन्ध में फँसा है जो उनके बचपन को प्रतिबिम्बित करता है, उन्हें संसारतापविच्छेत्री चाहिए। वे सतह को चिकना नहीं करतीं; वे जड़ काट देती हैं।
