भव-सागर पार कराने वाली - जो वह दिव्य नाव हैं जो आत्माओं को सांसारिक पीड़ा के विशाल महासागर के पार मुक्ति के उस पार के किनारे की ओर ले जाती है

आध्यात्मिक मुक्ति के लिए महासागर पार करने का रूपक ऋग्वेद से लेकर सबसे हाल के भक्ति गीतों तक भारतीय साहित्य में चलता है। भवसागरतारिणी असम्भव को सम्भव बनाने वाली नाव है - महासागर को समाप्त करके नहीं बल्कि वह माध्यम बनकर जो पारगमन सम्भव बनाती है।
