लम्बे-बड़े कानों वाले; जिनके सूप जैसे विशाल कान दिव्य श्रवण-यंत्र हैं जो प्रत्येक भक्त की प्रार्थना, चाहे वह कितनी ही धीरे कही गई हो, सुनते हैं

गणेश के बड़े, सावधान कानों की छवि भक्तों को सुने जाने का गहरा अहसास देती है, जिससे वे एकाकीपन या अनसुनी पीड़ा के क्षणों में उनके पास जाने के लिए सबसे उपयुक्त देव बन जाते हैं।
