संहारिणी

She who performs the cosmic dissolution, withdrawing all creation into herself

ब्रह्माण्डीय संहार करने वाली, सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि को अपने भीतर समेटने वाली

संहार = वापस लेना, नष्ट नहीं। देवी सृष्टि को 'recycle' करती हैं, 'destroy' नहीं। जैसे पेड़ शरद ऋतु में पत्ते गिराता है ताकि वसन्त में नए आएँ, वैसे ही संहार ताकि नई सृष्टि हो। जब पुरानी नौकरी जाए, पुराना रिश्ता ख़त्म हो, पुराना शहर छूटे, सब संहारिणी का recycling है।
