Duryodhana Instructs Purochana

Delighted that the Pandavas have been sent away, Duryodhana plots with Shakuni and Karna to burn Kunti and her sons. He takes his minister Purochana aside and tells him to hurry to Varanavata in a donkey-drawn chariot, to build there a fine four-halled house on the edge of the town out of hemp, resin, lac, ghee, oil and other things that burn, to lodge the Pandavas in it in comfort, and to set fire to its door once they sleep without fear, so that no one can blame the Kauravas. Purochana agrees, goes there at once and builds the dreadful house as he was told.
