Sanatkumara on the Signs of Death and Liberation
Sanatkumara tells Rudra the omens by which a man may know that his death is near, from a lightning-shaped figure seen in the north to a rayless sun, a holed moon-shadow, deafness to the inner sound and a smell of raw flesh, and how holding the mind on all the limbs lets him conquer death or lay the body down at will. He then returns to oneness and plurality, the modified Person and the twenty-fifth principle, the sages who received this knowledge from Kapila, and the threefold bondage and liberation. Bhishma closes by saying that Sanatkumara then rose into the sky.
