Secrets of Dharma from Vibhavasu, Shri and the Sages
In this bracketed passage Vibhavasu, Shri, Angiras, Gargya, Dhaumya and Jamadagni each give short rules in turn. They speak of the full-moon offering to the rising moon, the sins of the new-moon day, the ruin of a squalid household, the gift of lamps, the harm done to an oblation by the glance of unfit persons, inauspicious things about a house, and the truth that a pure heart outweighs costly sacrifices.
