Gifts for the Lunar Mansions: Narada and Devaki
At Yudhishthira's request Bhishma repeats the conversation of Narada and Devaki at Dvaraka. Narada names, one by one, the gifts to be made under each lunar mansion from Krittika to Bharani (milk-rice, a cow, gold, a bull, a chariot, perfumes, a blanket and so on) and the reward each brings in this world and the next. Devaki passed this teaching on to her daughters-in-law.
