Draupadi Rebukes Jayadratha and Is Carried Off

Flushed with anger, Draupadi scorns Jayadratha and warns him of what Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna and the twins will do to him. Jayadratha boasts of his noble birth and orders her into his chariot; she shoves him so that he falls, but she is seized again and, after bowing at Dhaumya's feet, mounts the chariot. Dhaumya warns Jayadratha of the Pandavas' vengeance and follows on foot among the soldiers.
