Lakshmana Slays Kumbhakarna

Kumbhakarna marches out and is mobbed by the monkeys, whom he laughs at and devours. Sugriva breaks a sal tree on his head and is carried off, until Lakshmana's arrow pierces the rakshasa's heart; Kumbhakarna drops Sugriva and charges with a boulder, growing new arms as Lakshmana cuts them off, and is finally destroyed by the Brahma weapon. Hanuman and Nila then kill Vajravega and Pramathin, and the general battle resumes, with the rakshasas getting the worst of it.
