The Rule of the Chandrayana Vow

Yudhishthira asks Krishna to teach the Chandrayana vow. Krishna sets out the rite in order: the preparations, the fire offerings, the bath and mantras, the daily alms and the morsels that grow and shrink with the moon, and the rules of conduct. He then lists the sins that the vow burns away and the lapses for which it is the atonement, and ends with the heaven it wins.
