The Pandavas Resolve to Fetch Marutta's Treasure
Janamejaya asks what Yudhishthira did next and how he obtained the treasure Marutta had buried. Yudhishthira lays before his brothers the plan, given by Vyasa, of bringing that wealth for the horse sacrifice, and Bhima approves, urging that Shiva and his attendants be propitiated, since the god had favoured Arjuna and the Pandavas before. The Pandavas fix an auspicious day, worship Maheshvara, take leave of the elders, and set out with their army.
