Krishna Brings the Child Parikshit Back to Life
Uttara faints, then rises and speaks to her dead child and to Krishna with grief and a threat to end her life. Krishna withdraws the Brahma weapon and, swearing by his truthfulness, his dharma and his deeds, restores the child to life with a touch of his foot. The infant begins slowly to stir.
