Parikshit Is Named and Hastinapura Is Decorated for the Pandavas

As Krishna withdraws the Brahma weapon, the chamber is filled with light, the demons flee, and the child regains his breath. The women rejoice and entertainers praise Krishna; Krishna gives Uttara jewels and names the child Parikshit, who grows up and is a month old when the Pandavas arrive with their treasure. The Vrishnis go out to meet them, and the city is adorned with garlands, flags, worship and music.
