Arjuna Vows to Protect Yudhishthira
The Kaurava soldiers roar at the news that Drona has promised to take Yudhishthira. Spies bring the plan to the king, who warns Arjuna and bids him fight close beside him. Arjuna swears that Drona shall not seize him while he lives. The two armies join battle on the eleventh day, and Drona, blazing like the midday sun, breaks into Dhrishtadyumna's host.
