Narada Tells of Shibi Aushinara
Narada continues with Shibi, son of Ushinara, who wrapped the whole earth about him like a hide and sacrificed with hundreds of horse sacrifices. He gave away cattle as numerous as raindrops, stars and grains of Ganges sand, his sacrificial grounds ran with rivers and hills of food, and Rudra granted him a boon before he went to heaven. If he died, Srinjaya should not grieve for his son.
