Narayana Describes His Manifestations to Narada
Bhishma tells how Narada asked the Blessed Lord, and the Lord named his ten manifestations: the Fish, the Tortoise, the Boar, the Man-Lion, the Dwarf who humbles Bali, the two Ramas, Krishna with his deeds from Kamsa to the great war, and, in the Kali age, the Buddha and Kalki. He then vanishes, and Narada goes to Nara and Narayana at Badari. Yudhishthira asks how Brahma could need to learn this from Narada, and Bhishma answers with the line of its transmission and the fruit of hearing it. Vaishampayana adds the Pandavas' devotion to Narayana and Vyasa's prayer, and Sauti closes the Narayaniya by urging the sages to worship the Supreme Lord.

The page labels this verse 91a, 91c, which suggests a line b has been lost; the critical edition has nothing more to restore, so the verse is kept as printed.
