Shanti Parva · Adhyaya 43
The Palaces of the Kauravas Are Shared Out
Yudhishthira dismisses the people and comforts his brothers, who are worn out by battle and by their sufferings in the forest, bidding them enjoy the victory at their ease. He gives Duryodhana's mansion to Bhima, Duhshasana's to Arjuna, Durmarshana's to Nakula and Durmukha's to Sahadeva. Yuyutsu, Vidura, Sanjaya, Sudharma and Dhaumya go to their own homes, while Krishna and Satyaki enter Arjuna's residence, rest there in comfort, and afterwards attend on Yudhishthira.

The page ends with its colophon, with no glosses and no other block after it. Speakers: the page heads Vaishampayana for the whole adhyaya; verses 3-5 are Yudhishthira's speech to his brothers, unheaded (the input carried Vaishampayana over), and are given to him. Line 2 ends ते where the CE has ca (recension variant).
