Gandhari Curses Krishna
Gandhari points out more of the dead: the Kamboja king Sudakshina, Jayatsena of Magadha, Brihadbala of Kosala, the sons of Dhrishtadyumna, the five Kekaya brothers, Drupada, Dhrishtaketu of Chedi, Lakshmana, and Vinda and Anuvinda. She says that the Pandavas alone were spared, and that her sons died the moment Krishna returned from his failed embassy. Falling to the ground and then rising in rage, she accuses Krishna of letting the Kurus perish and curses him: in the thirty-sixth year he will kill his own kinsmen and die alone by a wretched death. Krishna answers with a faint smile that the Vrishnis will be destroyed by fate and by one another, and the Pandavas are filled with dread.

Which way shall I go, lord of men, deprived of you? Far from my kin, without protector, trembling, with my sweet voice.

ātape klāmyamānānāṃ vividhānāmiva srujām | klāntānāmapi nārīṇāṃ jahāti śrīrna vai tanūḥ

droṇena nihatāḥ śūrāḥ śerate rucirāṅgadāḥ | dhṛṣṭadyumnasutāḥ sarve śiśavo hemamālinaḥ
Slain by Drona lie the heroes with the lovely armlets, all the sons of Dhrishtadyumna, children garlanded with gold.
Note on the text: Corrected शूरा → शूराः (misprint in Wikisource; the plural visarga is dropped; CE śūrāḥ). Line 1 = CE 11.25.13a; line 2 (धृष्टद्युम्नसुताः …) is the CE star passage 11.25.13b*0063_01. The alignment found no match.
Verse 14 (11.25.14)

Having come at Drona, whose chariot was the fire-house, whose bow was the flame, and whose arrows, spears and maces were the fuel, they were burned up like moths in a fire.
Note on the text: Not in the critical edition's constituted text; both lines are the CE star passage 11.25.13b*0063_02-03 (rathāgnyagāraṃ cāpārciṃ śaraśaktigadendhanam / droṇam āsādya nirdagdhāḥ śalabhā iva pāvakam), word for word.

tathaiva nihatāḥ śūrāḥ śerate rucirāṅgadāḥ | droṇenābhimukhāḥ saṅkhye bhrātaraḥ pañca kekayāḥ
Likewise lie slain the heroes with the lovely armlets, who faced Drona in battle: the five Kekaya brothers.
Note on the text: Line 1 is the CE star passage 11.25.13b*0063_04 (tathaiva nihatāḥ śūrāḥ śerate rucirāṅgadāḥ); line 2 is a variant of CE 11.25.13c (CE droṇenābhimukhāḥ sarve bhrātaraḥ pañca kekayāḥ: सङ्ख्ये for sarve). The alignment gave this verse CE 11.25.13, but 13a belongs to the verse above.
Verse 16 (11.25.16)

pāñcālarājño vimalaṃ puṇḍarīkākṣa pāṇḍuram | ātapatraṃ samābhāti śaradīva niśākaraḥ

Verse 21 (11.25.21)
droṇāstramabhihatyaiṣa vimarde madhusūdana | maheṣvāso hataḥ śete vajrāhata iva drumaḥ

Verse 22 (11.25.22)

Taking in their laps this hero, offspring of the Dasharha lady's son, who lies there truly valiant, the beautiful wives of the Chedi king weep.
Note on the text: Corrected चेदिराज वराङ्गनाः → चेदिराजवराङ्गनाः (misprint in Wikisource; the compound is printed as two words; CE cedirājavarāṅganāḥ). The first line reads दाशार्हपुत्रजं against CE dāśārhīputrajaṃ; the page's commentary explains पुत्र as used for a daughter too. Recension variant, kept.
Verse 25 (11.25.25)
asya putraṃ hṛṣīkeśa suvaktraṃ cārukuṇḍalam | droṇena samare paśya nikṛttaṃ bahudhā śaraiḥ

The Pandavas alone, Krishna, with you beside them, could not be slain, spared as they were by Drona and Bhishma, by Karna son of Vikartana, and by Kripa.
Verse 31 (11.25.31)

Spared by Duryodhana, by Drona's son, by Jayadratha the Saindhava, by Somadatta, by Vikarna, and by the hero Kritavarman,
Note on the text: Not matched by the alignment: this is the first two lines (29a, 29c) of the CE's three-line verse 11.25.29, which the alignment listed as unmatched. Its third line (29e) opens the next verse.

There is, Madhava, surely no burden too great for fate, if these heroes, bulls among Kshatriyas, have been slain by Kshatriyas: heroes, learned men, my high-minded sons.
Note on the text: Removed the backtick and stray quote mark Wikisource prints around line 3. Not matched by the alignment. Line 1 = CE 11.25.30c; line 2 = CE 11.25.30e; line 3 is the CE star passage 11.25.30f*0065_01 (śūrāś ca kṛtavidyāś ca mama putrā manasvinaḥ).

The Pandavas and the Dhartarashtras, Krishna, enraged with one another, were left to perish by you, Janardana. Why?
Note on the text: Corrected पाण्डवाः धार्तराष्ट्राश्च → पाण्डवा धार्तराष्ट्राश्च (misprint in Wikisource; the visarga is left unsandhied before a voiced consonant; CE pāṇḍavā dhārtarāṣṭrāś ca). क्रुद्धाः for CE drugdhāḥ is a recension variant, kept.

Note on the text: Speaker: wholly Krishna's reply (see the note on the preceding verse); the page prints no heading. Not matched by the alignment: line 1 = CE 11.25.44a; line 2 = CE 11.25.45a. The page puts these two lines after CE 44c, whereas the CE has 44a before 44c.

Verse 50 (11.25.50)
parasparakṛtaṃ nāśaṃ yataḥ prāpsyanti yādavāḥ | ityuktavati dāśārhe pāṇḍavāstrastacetasaḥ | babhūvurbhṛśasaṃvignā nirāśāścāpi jīvite
The Yadavas will therefore meet a ruin wrought by one another. When the Dasharha had spoken so, the Pandavas, their hearts struck with fear, became deeply agitated and despaired of life.
Note on the text: Speaker misspelt वैशम्पयन on the page (and in the input); corrected. The first line (परस्परकृतं नाशं …) completes Krishna's reply, and lines 2-3 are the narrator's, so the verse is kept whole under the narrator. Not matched by the alignment: line 1 = CE 11.25.45c; lines 2-3 = CE 11.25.46a, 46c (यतः for CE ataḥ is a recension variant, kept).
