Sanjaya Returns to Hastinapura

Sanjaya hurries back to Hastinapura and is admitted to Dhritarashtra at night. He brings Yudhishthira's greetings, praises the Pandava's devotion to dharma, and rebukes the old king for his wrongdoing, warning that by yielding to his son and trusting the wrong men he is leading the Kurus to destruction. Worn out by the journey, he asks leave to rest and promises that the Kurus will hear Yudhishthira's message in the assembly in the morning.
