Duryodhana Builds Rest-Halls for Krishna

Learning from messengers that Krishna is on his way, Dhritarashtra tells Bhishma, Drona, Sanjaya, Vidura and Duryodhana that the whole city is talking of it, and that Krishna, the lord of beings and the eternal dharma, must be honoured, since his goodwill would win them every wish. With the elders' approval Duryodhana has richly furnished halls built at pleasant places along the road, above all a splendid one at Vrikasthala. Krishna passes them all without a glance and goes on toward the Kuru capital.
