rich in every desire, enduring until the very dissolution of the ages.' O tiger among kings, thus she began to take her pleasure with her husband,
Verse 48 (padma.6.60.48)

Verse 50 (padma.6.60.50)

yathā kṛṣṇā tathā śuklā vibhedaṁ naiva kārayet sevitaikādaśī nṝṇāṁ bhuktimuktipradāyinī
As is the dark-fortnight one, so is the bright-fortnight one - no distinction should be made between them. Ekadashi, observed by men, bestows both worldly enjoyment and liberation.
Verse 53 (padma.6.60.53)
dhenuḥ śvetā yathā kṛṣṇā ubhayoḥ sadṛśaṁ payaḥ tathaiva tulyaphaladaṁ smṛtamekādaśīdvayam
Just as the milk of a white cow and a black cow is alike, so too both Ekadashis are held to bestow an equal fruit.
Verse 54 (padma.6.60.54)
