Verse 1 (shiva.kailasa.23.1)

सुब्रह्मण्य उवाच । द्वादशाहे समुत्थाय प्रातः स्नात्वा कृताह्निकः । शिवभक्तान्यतीन्वापि ब्राह्मणान्वा शिवप्रियान्

subrahmaṇya uvāca | dvādaśāhe samutthāya prātaḥ snātvā kṛtāhnikaḥ | śivabhaktānyatīnvāpi brāhmaṇānvā śivapriyān

Subrahmanya said: "On the twelfth day, having risen, bathed in the morning and performed the daily rites, one should invite renunciants devoted to Shiva, or brahmins dear to Shiva —"

Verse 2 (shiva.kailasa.23.2)

निमन्त्र्य तान्समाहूय मध्याह्ने चाप्लुताञ्छुचीन् । विधिवद्भोजयेद्भक्त्या स्वाद्वन्नैर्विविधैः शुभैः

nimantrya tānsamāhūya madhyāhne cāplutāñchucīn | vidhivadbhojayedbhaktyā svādvannairvividhaiḥ śubhaiḥ

"— having invited and summoned them, bathed and pure, at midday he should duly and devotedly feed them with various delicious, auspicious foods."

Verse 3 (shiva.kailasa.23.3)

सन्निधौ परमेशस्य पञ्चावरणमार्गतः । पूजयेत्तत्र संस्थाप्य प्राणानायम्य वाग्यतः

sannidhau parameśasya pañcāvaraṇamārgataḥ | pūjayettatra saṁsthāpya prāṇānāyamya vāgyataḥ

"In the presence of the Supreme Lord, by the method of the five enclosures, he should worship there, having established the deity, controlled the breath, and remained silent."

Verse 4 (shiva.kailasa.23.4)

महासङ्कल्पमार्गेण सङ्कल्प्यास्मद्गुरोरिह । पूजां करिष्य इत्युक्त्वा ततो दर्भानुपस्पृशेत्

mahāsaṅkalpamārgeṇa saṅkalpyāsmadguroriha | pūjāṁ kariṣya ityuktvā tato darbhānupaspṛśet

"By the method of the great resolve, having resolved 'I shall here perform the worship of our guru,' he should then touch kusha grass."

Verse 5 (shiva.kailasa.23.5)

पादौ प्रक्षाल्य चाचम्य स्वयं कर्ता च वाग्यतः । स्थापयेदासने तान्वै प्राङ्मुखान्भस्मभूषितान्

pādau prakṣālya cācamya svayaṁ kartā ca vāgyataḥ | sthāpayedāsane tānvai prāṅmukhānbhasmabhūṣitān

"Having washed their feet and sipped water, the performer himself, remaining silent, should seat them facing east, adorned with ash, upon seats."

Verse 6 (shiva.kailasa.23.6)

सदाशिवादिक्रमतो ध्यायेदष्टौ च तत्र तान् । परया सम्भावनयेतरानपि मुने द्विजान्

sadāśivādikramato dhyāyedaṣṭau ca tatra tān | parayā sambhāvanayetarānapi mune dvijān

"He should meditate upon those eight there in the order beginning with Sadashiva, and, O sage, upon the other brahmins too, with the highest regard."

Verse 7 (shiva.kailasa.23.7)

परमेष्ठिगुरुं ध्यायेत्साम्बबुद्ध्या स्वनामतः । गुरुं च परमं तस्मात्परापरगुरुं ततः

parameṣṭhiguruṁ dhyāyetsāmbabuddhyā svanāmataḥ | guruṁ ca paramaṁ tasmātparāparaguruṁ tataḥ

"He should meditate on the Paramesthi-guru, with the awareness of him together with Amba, by his own name, then on the Supreme Guru, and then the Para-apara Guru."

Verse 8 (shiva.kailasa.23.8)

इदमासनमित्युक्त्वा चासनानि प्रकल्पयेत् । प्रणवादिद्वितीयान्ते स्वस्य नाम समुच्चरन्

idamāsanamityuktvā cāsanāni prakalpayet | praṇavādidvitīyānte svasya nāma samuccaran

"Saying 'this is the seat,' he should arrange the seats, uttering his own name at the end of the accusative case, beginning with the Pranava."

Verse 9 (shiva.kailasa.23.9)

आवाहयामि नम इत्यावाह्यार्घोदकेन तु । पाद्यमाचमनं चार्घ्यं वस्त्रगन्धाक्षतानपि

āvāhayāmi nama ityāvāhyārghodakena tu | pādyamācamanaṁ cārghyaṁ vastragandhākṣatānapi

"Having invoked them with 'I invoke, homage,' he should offer foot-water, sipping-water, and offering-water, and also cloth, sandal-paste and unbroken rice —"

Verse 10 (shiva.kailasa.23.10)

दत्त्वा पुष्पैरलङ्कृत्य प्रणवाद्यष्टनामभिः । सचतुर्थीनमोऽन्तैश्च सुगन्धकुसुमैस्ततः

dattvā puṣpairalaṅkṛtya praṇavādyaṣṭanāmabhiḥ | sacaturthīnamo'ntaiśca sugandhakusumaistataḥ

"— and, having offered these, adorn them with flowers, with the eight names beginning with the Pranava ending in the dative and 'namah,' then with fragrant flowers —"

Verse 11 (shiva.kailasa.23.11)

धूपदीपौ हि दत्त्वा च सकलाराधनं कृतम् । सम्पूर्णमस्त्विति प्रोच्य नमस्कुर्यात्समुत्थितः

dhūpadīpau hi dattvā ca sakalārādhanaṁ kṛtam | sampūrṇamastviti procya namaskuryātsamutthitaḥ

"— and, having offered incense and lamp, the whole worship being thus complete, he should say 'may it be complete,' and, rising, offer obeisance."

Verse 12 (shiva.kailasa.23.12)

पात्राणि कदलीपत्राण्यास्तीर्याद्भिविशोध्य च । शुद्धान्नपायसापूपसूपव्यञ्जनपूर्वकम्

pātrāṇi kadalīpatrāṇyāstīryādbhiviśodhya ca | śuddhānnapāyasāpūpasūpavyañjanapūrvakam

"Having spread plantain-leaf plates and purified them with water, he should serve them, beginning with pure rice, rice-pudding, cakes, lentil-soup and side dishes —"

Verse 13 (shiva.kailasa.23.13)

दत्त्वा पदार्थान् कदलीनालिकेरगुडान्वितान् । पात्रासनानि च पृथग्दद्यात्सम्प्रोच्य च क्रमात्

dattvā padārthān kadalīnālikeraguḍānvitān | pātrāsanāni ca pṛthagdadyātsamprocya ca kramāt

"— having served these foods together with plantain, coconut and jaggery, he should give separate plates and seats to each in turn, addressing them."

Verse 14 (shiva.kailasa.23.14)

परिषिच्य च सम्प्रोक्ष्य विष्णोर्हव्यमिति ब्रुवन् । रक्षस्वेति करस्पर्शं कारयित्वा समुत्थितः

pariṣicya ca samprokṣya viṣṇorhavyamiti bruvan | rakṣasveti karasparśaṁ kārayitvā samutthitaḥ

"Having sprinkled water around and consecrated it, saying 'this is an oblation to Vishnu,' and 'protect it,' having had them touch it with their hands, he should rise."

Verse 15 (shiva.kailasa.23.15)

आपोशनं समर्प्याथ प्रार्थयेत्तानिदं प्रति । सदाशिवादयः प्रीता वरदाश्च भवन्तु मे

āpośanaṁ samarpyātha prārthayettānidaṁ prati | sadāśivādayaḥ prītā varadāśca bhavantu me

"Having then offered the sipping-water, he should pray to them: 'may Sadashiva and the others be pleased and become granters of boons to me.'"

Verse 16 (shiva.kailasa.23.16)

ये देवा इति च ततो जप्त्वेदं साक्षतं त्यजेत् । नमस्कृत्य समुत्थाय सर्वत्रामृतमस्त्विति

ye devā iti ca tato japtvedaṁ sākṣataṁ tyajet | namaskṛtya samutthāya sarvatrāmṛtamastviti

"Having recited the verse 'ye devah,' he should release the rice together with unbroken grains; having bowed and risen, saying 'may there be nectar everywhere' —"

Verse 17 (shiva.kailasa.23.17)

उक्त्वा प्रसाद्य च जपन् गणानां त्वेत्युपक्रमात् । वेदादीन् रुद्रचमकौ रुद्रसूक्तं च पञ्च च

uktvā prasādya ca japan gaṇānāṁ tvetyupakramāt | vedādīn rudracamakau rudrasūktaṁ ca pañca ca

"— having pleased them thus, reciting, beginning with 'gananam tva,' the Vedic hymns, the Rudram and Chamakam, the Rudra-sukta, and the five Brahma-mantras —"

Verse 18 (shiva.kailasa.23.18)

विप्राणां भोजनान्ते तु यावन्मन्त्रांश्च साक्षतान् । दत्त्वोत्तरापोशनं च हस्ताङ्घ्रिमुखशोधनम्

viprāṇāṁ bhojanānte tu yāvanmantrāṁśca sākṣatān | dattvottarāpośanaṁ ca hastāṅghrimukhaśodhanam

"— until the end of the brahmins' meal, with mantras and unbroken rice, then the after-meal sipping-water and the washing of hands, feet and mouth —"

Verse 19 (shiva.kailasa.23.19)

कृत्वाचान्तान् स्वासनेषु स्थापयित्वा यथासुखम् । शुद्धोदकं प्रदायाथ कर्पूरादि यथोदितम्

kṛtvācāntān svāsaneṣu sthāpayitvā yathāsukham | śuddhodakaṁ pradāyātha karpūrādi yathoditam

"— and, having had them sip water and seated them comfortably on their own seats, then offering pure water and camphor and the rest as prescribed —"

Verse 20 (shiva.kailasa.23.20)

मुखवासं दक्षिणां च पादुकासनपत्रकम् । व्यजनं फलकं दण्डं वैणवं च प्रदाय तान्

mukhavāsaṁ dakṣiṇāṁ ca pādukāsanapatrakam | vyajanaṁ phalakaṁ daṇḍaṁ vaiṇavaṁ ca pradāya tān

"— having given them mouth-freshener, the sacrificial fee, sandals, a seat and leaf-plate, a fan, a board, and a bamboo staff —"

Verse 21 (shiva.kailasa.23.21)

प्रदक्षिणनमस्कारैः सन्तोष्याशिषमा वहेत । पुनः प्रणम्य सम्प्रार्थ्य गुरुभक्तिमचञ्चलाम्

pradakṣiṇanamaskāraiḥ santoṣyāśiṣamā vaheta | punaḥ praṇamya samprārthya gurubhaktimacañcalām

"— he should please them with circumambulation and prostration and receive their blessing; bowing again, and praying for unwavering devotion to the guru —"

Verse 22 (shiva.kailasa.23.22)

सदाशिवादयः प्रीता गच्छन्तु च यथासुखम् । इत्युद्वास्य द्वारदेशावधि सम्यगनुव्रजन्

sadāśivādayaḥ prītā gacchantu ca yathāsukham | ityudvāsya dvāradeśāvadhi samyaganuvrajan

"— saying 'may Sadashiva and the others, being pleased, go now as they please,' he should bid them farewell and duly accompany them to the doorway."

Verse 23 (shiva.kailasa.23.23)

निरुद्धस्तैः परावृत्य द्वाःस्थैर्विप्रैश्च बन्धुभिः । दीनानाथैश्च सहितो भुक्त्वा तिष्ठेद्यथासुखम्

niruddhastaiḥ parāvṛtya dvāḥsthairvipraiśca bandhubhiḥ | dīnānāthaiśca sahito bhuktvā tiṣṭhedyathāsukham

"Being stopped by them and turning back, he should, together with the brahmins stationed at the door, his kinsmen, and the poor and destitute, eat and remain at ease."

Verse 24 (shiva.kailasa.23.24)

विकृतं न भवेत्क्वापि सत्यं सत्यं पुनः पुनः । प्रत्यब्दमेवं कुर्वाणो गुर्वाराधनमुत्तमम् । इह भुक्त्वा महाभोगान् शिवलोकमवाप्नुयात्

vikṛtaṁ na bhavetkvāpi satyaṁ satyaṁ punaḥ punaḥ | pratyabdamevaṁ kurvāṇo gurvārādhanamuttamam | iha bhuktvā mahābhogān śivalokamavāpnuyāt

"Nothing untoward should ever occur — this is true, true, again and again. Performing this excellent worship of the guru year after year, having enjoyed great pleasures here, one attains the world of Shiva."

Verse 25 (shiva.kailasa.23.25)

सूत उवाच । एवं कृतानुग्रहमात्मशिष्यं, श्रीवामदेवं मुनिवर्यमुक्त्वा । प्रसन्नधीर्ज्ञानिवरो महात्मा, कृत्वा परानुग्रहमाशु देवः

sūta uvāca | evaṁ kṛtānugrahamātmaśiṣyaṁ, śrīvāmadevaṁ munivaryamuktvā | prasannadhīrjñānivaro mahātmā, kṛtvā parānugrahamāśu devaḥ

Suta said: Having thus spoken to his own disciple, the excellent sage Shri Vamadeva upon whom grace had been shown, the god, clear of mind, foremost among the wise, great of soul, having swiftly bestowed grace upon another —

Verse 26 (shiva.kailasa.23.26)

यन्नैमिषारण्यमुनीश्वराणां, प्रोक्तं पुरा व्यासमुनीश्वरेण । तस्मादसावादिगुरुर्भवांस्तु, द्वितीय आर्यो भुवने प्रसिद्धः

yannaimiṣāraṇyamunīśvarāṇāṁ, proktaṁ purā vyāsamunīśvareṇa | tasmādasāvādigururbhavāṁstu, dvitīya āryo bhuvane prasiddhaḥ

"— that which was declared long ago to the lords of sages of Naimisharanya by the great sage Vyasa: 'therefore you are the primordial guru; you are renowned in this world as the second noble one.'"

Verse 27 (shiva.kailasa.23.27)

श्रुत्वा मुनीन्द्रो भवतो मुखाज्जात्, सनत्कुमारः शिवभक्तिपूर्णः । व्यासाय वक्ता स च शैववर्यः शुकाय वक्ता भविता च पूर्णः

śrutvā munīndro bhavato mukhājjāt, sanatkumāraḥ śivabhaktipūrṇaḥ | vyāsāya vaktā sa ca śaivavaryaḥ śukāya vaktā bhavitā ca pūrṇaḥ

"Having heard it from your own mouth, the lord of sages Sanatkumara, full of devotion to Shiva, came to be; and he, foremost among Shaivas, became its teacher to Vyasa, and, made complete, will become its teacher to Shuka."

Verse 28 (shiva.kailasa.23.28)

प्रत्येकं मुनिशार्दूल शिष्यवर्गचतुष्टयम् । वेदाध्ययनसंवृत्तं धर्मस्थापनपूर्वकम्

pratyekaṁ muniśārdūla śiṣyavargacatuṣṭayam | vedādhyayanasaṁvṛttaṁ dharmasthāpanapūrvakam

"O tiger among sages, each of these teachers had a group of four disciples, accomplished in Vedic study and devoted to establishing dharma."

Verse 29 (shiva.kailasa.23.29)

वैशम्पायन एव स्यात्पैलो जैमिनिरेव च । सुमन्तुश्चेति चत्वारो व्यासशिष्या महौजसः

vaiśampāyana eva syātpailo jaiminireva ca | sumantuśceti catvāro vyāsaśiṣyā mahaujasaḥ

"Vaishampayana, Paila, Jaimini, and Sumantu — these four, of great vigor, were the disciples of Vyasa."

Verse 30 (shiva.kailasa.23.30)

अगस्त्यश्च पुलस्त्यश्च पुलहः क्रतुरेव च । तव शिष्या महात्मानो वामदेव महामुने

agastyaśca pulastyaśca pulahaḥ kratureva ca | tava śiṣyā mahātmāno vāmadeva mahāmune

"Agastya, Pulastya, Pulaha, and Kratu — O Vamadeva, great sage, these great-souled ones are your disciples."

Verse 31 (shiva.kailasa.23.31)

सनकश्च सनन्दश्च सनातनमुनिस्ततः । सनत्सुजात इत्येते योगिवर्याः शिवप्रियाः

sanakaśca sanandaśca sanātanamunistataḥ | sanatsujāta ityete yogivaryāḥ śivapriyāḥ

"Sanaka, Sananda, then the sage Sanatana, and Sanatsujata — these are the foremost yogis, dear to Shiva."

Verse 32 (shiva.kailasa.23.32)

सनत्कुमारशिष्यास्ते सर्ववेदार्थवित्तमाः । गुरुश्च परमश्चैव परात्परगुरुस्ततः । परमेष्ठिगुरुश्चैते पूज्याः स्युः शुकयोगिनः

sanatkumāraśiṣyāste sarvavedārthavittamāḥ | guruśca paramaścaiva parātparagurustataḥ | parameṣṭhiguruścaite pūjyāḥ syuḥ śukayoginaḥ

"These are the disciples of Sanatkumara, most learned in the meaning of all the Vedas. The Guru, the Supreme Guru, and then the Para-apara Guru, and the Paramesthi-guru — these are to be revered by the yogi Shuka."

Verse 33 (shiva.kailasa.23.33)

इदं प्रणवविज्ञानं स्थितं वर्गचतुष्टये । सर्वोत्कृष्टनिदानं च काश्यां सन्मुक्तिकारणम्

idaṁ praṇavavijñānaṁ sthitaṁ vargacatuṣṭaye | sarvotkṛṣṭanidānaṁ ca kāśyāṁ sanmuktikāraṇam

"This science of the Pranava abides within these four groups; it is the most excellent foundation, and the cause of true liberation at Kashi."

Verse 34 (shiva.kailasa.23.34)

एतन्मण्डलमद्भुतं परशिवाधिष्ठान रूपं सदा, वेदान्तार्थविचारपूर्णमतिभिः पूज्यं यतीन्द्रैः परम् । वेदादिप्रविभागकल्पितमहाकाशादिनाप्यावृतं, त्वत्सन्तोषकरं तथास्तु जगतां श्रेयस्करं श्रीप्रदम्

etanmaṇḍalamadbhutaṁ paraśivādhiṣṭhāna rūpaṁ sadā, vedāntārthavicārapūrṇamatibhiḥ pūjyaṁ yatīndraiḥ param | vedādipravibhāgakalpitamahākāśādināpyāvṛtaṁ, tvatsantoṣakaraṁ tathāstu jagatāṁ śreyaskaraṁ śrīpradam

"This wondrous circle, ever of the form abiding in the Supreme Shiva, supremely worshipped by the lords of renunciants whose minds are full of inquiry into the meaning of Vedanta, encompassed too by the great ether and the rest as ordained by the Veda — may it be a source of your joy, and a bringer of good fortune and prosperity to the world."

Verse 35 (shiva.kailasa.23.35)

इदं रहस्यं परमं शिवोदितं, वेदान्तसिद्धान्तविनिश्चितं परम् । मत्तः श्रुतं यद्भवता ततो मुने, भवन्मतं प्राज्ञतमा वदन्ति

idaṁ rahasyaṁ paramaṁ śivoditaṁ, vedāntasiddhāntaviniścitaṁ param | mattaḥ śrutaṁ yadbhavatā tato mune, bhavanmataṁ prājñatamā vadanti

"This supreme secret, spoken by Shiva, is the settled conclusion of the Vedanta doctrine; what you have heard from me, O sage — that, the wisest declare, is your own realization."

Verse 36 (shiva.kailasa.23.36)

तस्मादनेनैव पथा गतः शिवं, शिवोऽहमस्मीति शिवो भवेद्यतिः । पितामहादिप्रविभागमुक्तये, नद्यो यथा सिन्धुमिमाः प्रयान्ति

tasmādanenaiva pathā gataḥ śivaṁ, śivo'hamasmīti śivo bhavedyatiḥ | pitāmahādipravibhāgamuktaye, nadyo yathā sindhumimāḥ prayānti

"Therefore, having gone to Shiva by this very path, thinking 'I am Shiva,' the renunciant becomes Shiva; just as these rivers flow to the ocean for liberation from the divisions beginning with Grandfather Brahma."

Verse 37 (shiva.kailasa.23.37)

सूत उवाच । एवं मुनीश्वरायैतदुपदिश्य सुरेश्वरः । संस्मृत्य चरणाम्भोजे पित्रोः सर्वसुरार्चिते

sūta uvāca | evaṁ munīśvarāyaitadupadiśya sureśvaraḥ | saṁsmṛtya caraṇāmbhoje pitroḥ sarvasurārcite

Suta said: Having thus taught this to the lord of sages, the lord of the gods, calling to mind the lotus feet of his parents, worshipped by all the gods —

Verse 38 (shiva.kailasa.23.38)

कैलासशिखरं पराप कुमारः शिखरावृतम् । राजितं परमाश्चर्यं दिव्यज्ञानप्रदो गुरुः

kailāsaśikharaṁ parāpa kumāraḥ śikharāvṛtam | rājitaṁ paramāścaryaṁ divyajñānaprado guruḥ

"— Kumara, the guru who bestows divine knowledge, attained the peak of Kailasa, encircled by other peaks, resplendent and supremely wondrous."

Verse 39 (shiva.kailasa.23.39)

वामदेवोऽपि सच्छिष्यैः संवृतः शिखिवाहनम् । सम्प्रणम्य जगामाशु कैलासं परमाद्भुतम्

vāmadevo'pi sacchiṣyaiḥ saṁvṛtaḥ śikhivāhanam | sampraṇamya jagāmāśu kailāsaṁ paramādbhutam

Vamadeva too, surrounded by his own true disciples, having bowed to the peacock-mounted one, swiftly went to the supremely wondrous Kailasa.

Verse 40 (shiva.kailasa.23.40)

गत्वा कैलासशिखरं प्राप्येशनिकटं मुनिः । ददर्श मोक्षदं मायानाशं चरणमीशयोः

gatvā kailāsaśikharaṁ prāpyeśanikaṭaṁ muniḥ | dadarśa mokṣadaṁ māyānāśaṁ caraṇamīśayoḥ

Having gone to the peak of Kailasa and reached the vicinity of the Lord, the sage beheld the liberation-bestowing, illusion-destroying feet of the divine couple.

Verse 41 (shiva.kailasa.23.41)

भक्त्या चार्पितसर्वाङ्गो विस्मृत्य स्वकलेवरम् । पपात सन्निधौ भूयो भूयो नत्वा समुत्थितः

bhaktyā cārpitasarvāṅgo vismṛtya svakalevaram | papāta sannidhau bhūyo bhūyo natvā samutthitaḥ

With his whole body offered in devotion, forgetting his own body, he fell in their presence, bowing again and again, and rose.

Verse 42 (shiva.kailasa.23.42)

ततो बहुविधैः स्तोत्रैर्वेदागमरसोत्कटैः । तुष्टाव परमेशानं साम्बिकं ससुतं मुनिः

tato bahuvidhaiḥ stotrairvedāgamarasotkaṭaiḥ | tuṣṭāva parameśānaṁ sāmbikaṁ sasutaṁ muniḥ

Then the sage praised the Supreme Lord, together with Amba and his son, with manifold hymns rich in the essence of the Vedas and Agamas.

Verse 43 (shiva.kailasa.23.43)

निधाय चरणाम्भोजं देवदेव्योः स्वमूर्द्धनि । पूर्णानुग्रहमासाद्य तत्रैव न्यवसत्सुखम्

nidhāya caraṇāmbhojaṁ devadevyoḥ svamūrddhani | pūrṇānugrahamāsādya tatraiva nyavasatsukham

Placing the lotus feet of the divine couple upon his own head, and having obtained their complete grace, he dwelt there in happiness.

Verse 44 (shiva.kailasa.23.44)

भवन्तोऽपि विदित्वैवं प्रपणवार्थं महेश्वरम् । वेदगुह्यं च सर्वस्वं तारकं ब्रह्म मुक्तिदम्

bhavanto'pi viditvaivaṁ prapaṇavārthaṁ maheśvaram | vedaguhyaṁ ca sarvasvaṁ tārakaṁ brahma muktidam

"You too, having thus known Maheshvara, the meaning of the Pranava, the secret of the Vedas, the all, the liberating Taraka-Brahman —"

Verse 45 (shiva.kailasa.23.45)

अत्रैव सुखमासीनाः श्रीविश्वेश्वरपादयोः । सायुज्यरूपामतुलां भजध्वं मुक्तिमुत्तमाम्

atraiva sukhamāsīnāḥ śrīviśveśvarapādayoḥ | sāyujyarūpāmatulāṁ bhajadhvaṁ muktimuttamām

"— seated here in happiness at the feet of Shri Vishveshvara, partake of that peerless, supreme liberation in the form of union with him."

अहं गुरुपदाम्भोजसेवायै बादराश्रमम् । गमिष्ये भवतां भूयः सत्सम्भाषणमस्तु मे

ahaṁ gurupadāmbhojasevāyai bādarāśramam | gamiṣye bhavatāṁ bhūyaḥ satsambhāṣaṇamastu me

"I shall go to Badarikashrama for the service of my guru's lotus feet; may I have the good fortune of conversing with you again."
