The Glory of Kapardi-Chintamani

Verse 1 (skanda.7.141.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि कपर्दी यत्र संस्थितः। तस्यैव उत्तरे भागे नातिदूरे व्यवस्थितः। चिंतितार्थप्रदो देवि चिन्तामणिरिवापरः

īśvara uvāca| tato gacchenmahādevi kapardī yatra saṁsthitaḥ| tasyaiva uttare bhāge nātidūre vyavasthitaḥ| ciṁtitārthaprado devi cintāmaṇirivāparaḥ

Ishvara said: Then, O great Goddess, one should go to where Kapardin stands, situated not far in the northern part of that very place; O Devi, he grants whatever is desired, like another Chintamani, the wish-fulfilling jewel.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.141.2)

चतुर्थ्यां तं तु देवेशि अंगारकदिने पुनः। स्नापयित्वा तु संपूज्य नैवेद्यैर्विविधैः शुभैः। सन्तर्प्य विघ्नराजेशं सर्वान्कामानवाप्नुयात्

caturthyāṁ taṁ tu deveśi aṁgārakadine punaḥ| snāpayitvā tu saṁpūjya naivedyairvividhaiḥ śubhaiḥ| santarpya vighnarājeśaṁ sarvānkāmānavāpnuyāt

O queen of gods, bathing him on the fourth lunar day, and again on a Tuesday, worshipping him with various auspicious food-offerings, and satisfying the lord Vighnaraja, one obtains all desires.
