The Glory of Mandavyeshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.179.1)

ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि लिंगं पापप्रणाशनम्। सिद्धेशाद्दक्षिणे कोणे धनुषां त्रितये स्थितम्। माण्डव्येश्वरनामानं महापातकनाशनम्

tato gacchenmahādevi liṁgaṁ pāpapraṇāśanam| siddheśāddakṣiṇe koṇe dhanuṣāṁ tritaye sthitam| māṇḍavyeśvaranāmānaṁ mahāpātakanāśanam

Then, O great Goddess, one should go to that sin-destroying linga, situated three bow-lengths in the southern corner from Siddheshvara, named Mandavyeshvara, the destroyer of great sins.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.179.2)

माघे मासे चतुर्दश्यां पूजां जागरणं तथा। कुर्याद्योऽतीन्द्रियो मर्त्यो न स मर्त्ये पुनर्व्रजेत्

māghe māse caturdaśyāṁ pūjāṁ jāgaraṇaṁ tathā| kuryādyo'tīndriyo martyo na sa martye punarvrajet

The mortal who, transcending the senses, performs worship and a night-vigil on the fourteenth day of the month of Magha, does not return again to the world of death.
