The Glory of Pushpadanteshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.180.1)

तत्रैव संस्थितं पश्येत्पुष्पदन्तेश्वरं शुभम्। पुष्पदन्तेश्वरो नाम गणेशः शंकरस्य तु

tatraiva saṁsthitaṁ paśyetpuṣpadanteśvaraṁ śubham| puṣpadanteśvaro nāma gaṇeśaḥ śaṁkarasya tu

At that very place one should behold the auspicious Pushpadanteshvara; Pushpadanteshvara is the name of a chief attendant (ganeshvara) of Shankara.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.180.2)

तेन तप्तं तपो घोरं तत्र लिंगं प्रतिष्ठितम्

tena taptaṁ tapo ghoraṁ tatra liṁgaṁ pratiṣṭhitam

By him terrible austerity was performed, and there the linga was established.

Verse 3 (skanda.7.180.3)

तं दृष्ट्वा मुच्यते जंतुर्जन्मसंसारबन्धनात्। प्राप्नुयादीप्सितान्कामानिह लोके परत्र च

taṁ dṛṣṭvā mucyate jaṁturjanmasaṁsārabandhanāt| prāpnuyādīpsitānkāmāniha loke paratra ca

Having seen it, a creature is freed from the bondage of birth and worldly existence, and obtains his desired wishes in this world and the next.
