The Glory of Pulaheshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.211.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। पुलस्त्येश्वरात्ततो देवि नैर्ऋते धनुषाष्टके। पुलहेश्वरनामानं तं च भक्त्या प्रपूजयेत्

īśvara uvāca| pulastyeśvarāttato devi nairṛte dhanuṣāṣṭake| pulaheśvaranāmānaṁ taṁ ca bhaktyā prapūjayet

Ishvara said: O Goddess, then, eight bow-lengths to the southwest of Pulastyeshvara, is the linga named Pulaheshvara; one should worship it with devotion.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.211.2)

हिरण्यदानं दत्त्वा वै सम्यग्यात्राफलं लभेत्

hiraṇyadānaṁ dattvā vai samyagyātrāphalaṁ labhet

By giving a gift of gold, one obtains the complete fruit of the pilgrimage.
