The Glory of Kalambeshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.310.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। तस्माद्वायव्यदिग्भागे धनुषां द्वितये स्थितम्। कलंबेश्वरनामानं सर्वपातकनाशनम्

īśvara uvāca| tasmādvāyavyadigbhāge dhanuṣāṁ dvitaye sthitam| kalaṁbeśvaranāmānaṁ sarvapātakanāśanam

Ishvara said: From there, in the northwest direction, situated at a distance of two dhanus, is the one named Kalambeshvara, destroyer of all sins.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.310.2)

तं दृष्ट्वा पूजयित्वा च मुक्तः स्यात्सर्वकिल्बिषैः। सोमवारे त्वमावास्या तत्रैव बहुपुण्यदा। विप्राणां भोजनं देयं तत्र पुण्यफलेप्सुभिः

taṁ dṛṣṭvā pūjayitvā ca muktaḥ syātsarvakilbiṣaiḥ| somavāre tvamāvāsyā tatraiva bahupuṇyadā| viprāṇāṁ bhojanaṁ deyaṁ tatra puṇyaphalepsubhiḥ

Seeing and worshipping him, one is freed from all sins. A new-moon day falling on a Monday is especially productive of great merit there; those desiring the fruit of merit should give food to Brahmins there.
