The Glory of Kshemaditya

Verse 1 (skanda.7.316.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। अथ देवकुलात्पूर्वे पंचगव्यूतिमात्रतः। शंबरस्थान मध्ये तु क्षेमादित्येति विश्रुतः

īśvara uvāca| atha devakulātpūrve paṁcagavyūtimātrataḥ| śaṁbarasthāna madhye tu kṣemādityeti viśrutaḥ

Ishvara said: Now, to the east of Devakula, at a distance of just five gavyutis, in the midst of Shambara-sthana, is the one renowned as Kshemaditya.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.316.2)

तं दृष्ट्वा मानवो देवि भवेत्क्षेमार्थसिद्धिभाक्। सप्तम्यां रविवारेण पूजितः सर्वकामदः

taṁ dṛṣṭvā mānavo devi bhavetkṣemārthasiddhibhāk| saptamyāṁ ravivāreṇa pūjitaḥ sarvakāmadaḥ

Beholding him, O Goddess, a man attains the accomplishment of well-being. Worshipped on a Sunday falling on the seventh lunar day, he grants all desires.

Verse 3 (skanda.7.316.3)

इति देवकुलस्थाने कथिता तीर्थसंस्थितिः

iti devakulasthāne kathitā tīrthasaṁsthitiḥ

Thus has been told the arrangement of the tirthas in the region of Devakula.
